Why people choose Amtico

When you consider the major benefits of Amtico flooring – its exciting range of ultra-stylish finishes, its durability, combined with a bespoke service – the reasons to choose our surfaces for your home are impossible to ignore.

Inspired by traditional materials and contemporary textures and surfaces, our floors continue to prove a winner with customers everywhere. Each year the Amtico in-house Flooring Designers refreshes the selection of over 158 designs of premium vinyl.

Amtico flooring also has a well-deserved reputation for being hard-wearing. While natural materials can become easily marked, chipped or tough to clean, an Amtico finish is extremely easy to maintain and requires minimal effort to keep it looking pristine.

In fact, we’re so confident about durability, our products come with a Amtico 25 year residential warranty. And since 2006, that guarantee has been transferable if you register your warranty with us (for more information visit our section on warranty info and floor protection). This means when you move home, the floor you leave behind is still under warranty – something prospective home-buyers will certainly see as a positive.

And don’t forget our Amtico tailored floors and bespoke service is yet another benefit of choosing Amtico. This means you can have tiles cut in any way you choose, to mix and match different designs and create a truly unique floor.

The Amtico collection will always include our customers’ most popular finishes, but also aims to give inspiration through fresh new looks fuelled by the latest trends in interior design. This April saw the biggest-ever range refresh with over 30 new products being launched – any one of which will add a distinctive design statement to any room, for inspiration take a look at our Gallery of floors.

Eleven new styles introduced to the Woods collection take in the trend for using distressed, reclaimed and salvaged materials, many of which have greyed-off tones and natural features. Excited by the globally influenced interiors of leading-edge bars, restaurants and hotels, Amtico has also introduced a range of dramatic Woods inspired by unusual varieties from around the world. They include the striking and beautiful Black Chestnut vinyl flooring and hardwood look and Applewood like tile floors to the unique Shibori Jasmine wood effect flooring.

Much of the design inspiration for the new Stones collection comes from the current trends for bold featured stones but infused with Amtico’s fresh and contemporary style. From the soft sweeping grains of the Stria and the Sedimentary Grey Stone vinyl floor design to the contemporary strong definition of our Urban Marble tile flooring finish, Amtico has launched a beautiful collection of soft, cool and warm tones with subtle colour movements – ideal for a multitude of spaces.

New additions to the Abstracts collection draw inspiration from the worn metallic trend seen in Milan. Steels, golds, pewters and bronzes add intriguing tonal highlights, as showcased in the Patina designs. Less bold designs, such as Alchemy Haze vinyl tile, are more natural in colour with subtle metallic undertones to add depth and warmth.

I really like the design of Amtico laminate wood flooring, I think most people think of Pergo when it comes to wood laminate flooring but they should be thinking Amtico.
