Get creative in the kitchen

Kitchens are so much more than a place to cook food nowadays, they act as a family living space, informal dining area and meeting point. With all the hustle and bustle of daily life revolving around this room, the design of your kitchen is essential.

When it comes to flooring, you need a kitchen floor with durability and functionality; but that doesn’t mean it has to be boring. The Stone range from Amtico is tough-wearing and easy to clean, perfect for a busy cooking area. Soften it up with wooden worktops or units to create a warm and welcoming kitchen.

Contrasting colours are a great way to make an impact. Give the elusion of space with white walls and bright, ceramic worktops ensuring light bounces around the room. Then use dark stone flooring like Graphite Slate or Ceramic Coal to create a dynamic, elegant kitchen that looks great and will last for years.

Our Amtico kitchen floor was chosen by me 35 years ago when our house was built. It has been excellent and I have recommended Amtico to many people over the years. We plan to have a new kitchen in the New Year. I get to choose again !
